While I was in Puerto Rico doing a hospitality internship, a friend heard about MTV auditioning for "Road Rules 10: The Quest" and asked me to tag along to keep them company. After I sat in on the group audition, I was shocked to get a call back, and before you knew it I was off to Morocco and Spain for the adventure of a lifetime. It was a defining point in my life, the show really allowed me to have my eyes opened to how others lived.
Since then, I've made some major changes in my life; I'd like to think that a large part of the person I've become was because of my experience on "Road Rules," and I am extremely proud of that person.
After The Quest, I finished college, and upon graduating from Boston University with a degree in Hospitality Administration, I was invited to captain the celebrity team for "Eco Challenge: Fiji Islands." Before I even started the "Eco Challenge," I decided that biking 2700 miles cross-country in 24 days would be good training. I returned to television on "The Gauntlet."
Always ready for new experiences, I packed up and moved to Los Angeles for a change of pace if nothing else. I've been able to pursue dreams that otherwise would not have been available to me. I tried to take my love for entertainment and sports to the next level. I have been acting in films and competing in triathlon and adventure races. Last August, I completed my first full Ironman competition up in northern California (2.4 miles swim, 112 miles bike, and 26.2 miles run).
I am filming "Road Rules 14" this winter and spring in southern California. I never thought I would have the opportunity to travel like this again much less with a group of crazy kids inside an RV being filmed 24/7. I'm hoping this RV trip will take care of those wanderlust feelings that have me taking off in different directions all the time. I plan on pursuing a career in the wine or cruise industry. So that's my reality, I still dream of owning my own adventure travel company and climbing Mt. Everest...
