PAMELA DAY
Pamela has left an indelible mark on the business world. Coming from a quiet town in rural New Jersey, she has risen to become one of the most recognizable female figures in business.
After graduating with an economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania, she began underwriting equity new issuances at UBS PaineWebber. Pamela went on to attend Harvard Business School, and received her MBA in 1997.
In 1998, Pamela moved to San Francisco and worked in Real Estate Finance and Consulting at Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the world’s largest real estate services firms. She then began her start-up career, by taking the role of VP of Corporate Finance for a technical start-up firm. There, she helped grow the company from 12 to nearly 800 employees, raised over $132 million in equity capital for that firm, and filed the company’s registration for an IPO.
Through hard work and dedication, Pamela has built many successful companies from the ground on up. Selected from nearly a million applicants, Pamela was asked to appear on NBC’s "The Apprentice," where she was touted as the favorite to win on this top-rated, award-winning show. She has entertained millions of viewers with her business style and affected her fans with her no-bones business advice. Her commitment to upstanding business practices, no-excuses approach and tell-it-like-it-is style made her an instant favorite.
In 2004, Pamela established The Pamela Day Foundation to support the education and empowerment of women and adolescent girls in the United States and around the world.
Pamela has extended herself beyond the realm of television into her businesses, philanthropy and writing. Together, Pamela’s business acumen, accomplishments and style have established her as one of the most respected and admired business leaders today.
