Parvati Shallow, a former Atlantan, became the first person with Atlanta ties to win "Survivor" this past spring. Could 28-year-old Marcus Lehman make it two for two? Lehman, a doctor in Jacksonville, hails from Atlanta and finished Emory University's medical school.
According to his biography on the CBS Web site, Lehman received an undergraduate degree at Harvard University and is currently a resident physician. He told CBS he plans to work as an anesthesiologist after he completes specialty training.
Lehman, who is of Cuban-American descent, describes himself as a romantic who enjoys exercising, playing music, cooking and fine wine. He's done triathlons. And he was named one of Georgia's hottest bachelors by Cosmopolitan in 2006 and remains single.
In the bio, he said he hopes his charm and physical prowess will help him win the $1 million.
But Jeff Probst, show host, told EW Online that Lehman was "one of the most arrogant guys that we've had on the show. He at one point had three people after him --- and not only women."
"Survivor: Gabon," the show's 17th edition, starts with a two-hour special Sept. 25 at 8 p.m.
