George Gray’s career spans the world of live stand-up and sketch comedy, as well as TV and film work. Gray’s hosting credits include: ESPN’s sports fantasy reality TV series “I’d Do Anything,” NBC’s “25 Million-Dollar Hoax,” “National Lampoon’s GREEK GAMES” and “Extreme Gong” both on GSN, FX’s innovative unscripted series “Todd TV,” The Learning Channel’s “Junkyard Wars” for which he shared a 2001 Primetime Emmy Award nomination (Outstanding Non-Fiction Program). However, of all these, the seasoned veteran’s most famed role was as the host of NBC’s game show “The Weakest Link.” Additional television credits include host of TNT’s “Movies for Guys Who Like Movies,” as well as roles in “For Your Love” and “Party of Five.” Gray’s film roles include “Cabin Pressure” and “Ophelia Learns to Swim”. Gray recently hosted HGTV’s “Summer Showdown.”
Gray was born in St. Louis, Mo., raised in Tucson, Ariz. and currently divides his time between Los Angeles and the historic mining town of Bisbee, Arizona. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona and is know for his appreciation of classic cars.
