I watched and/or Tivo\\\'d the entire season faithfully all year, even purchased tickets for the AI Top 10 Tour with plans to travel to Utah \\\'cause you didn\\\'t see fit to include Colorado on the tour. I voted loyally to make sure my favorites made it and only occasionally was stymied by a busy signal. Last night in two hours I made over 500 calls to the numbers provided (3 of them) for Adam Lambert and only got through 4 times. So Kris Allen is the 2009 American Idol? Not by my count. No matter what the total vote count was, it was at least 496 votes short for Adam and I think it\\\'s safe to say I wasn\\\'t the only one encountering the issue. Kris Allen said it best: Adam deserved it, but the flawed voting system denied him.
I will give my tickets away and will no longer watch your show. I encourage frustrated (formerly) loyal fans everywhere to do the same.[/i]

i hope someone important at fox reality channel reads our comments because i could NOT get thru the phone lines either and feel that something is not right.(fishy maybe). chris won on popularity, NOT talent. it is unfortunate. i just hope fox makes a change and lets the judges vote count the majority because part of america's judgement is cloudy.
Adam should have won by a landslide and if everyone who could not get thru the phone line had been able to vote, i feel Adam would have won.

I agree Adam should have won. I live in NJ and couldnt get through to vote at all. I think next season we should be able to vote online as well. plus only 1 text per phone line can you make. Plus only 10 times over regular phone.
